Planning a luxury brand event in Paris
A brand event connects a clear objective to a consistent guest experience. Before choosing a venue or a setting, define who you want to bring together, the message you want to communicate and the content you need. These are the decisions to prepare with your production team.
Define your format and objectives
A product launch, private dinner and brand party have different rhythms and production needs. Clarify whether you want to introduce a product, meet the press, welcome clients or produce images. Identify the essential moments: arrival, product discovery, a presentation, a meal or entertainment. Choose measures of success that fit the brief, such as guest attendance, meetings arranged or delivery of the agreed content.
Choose a venue around the brief
Start with usable capacity, access and guest circulation. Then review deliveries, installation and dismantling hours, power requirements, permitted sound levels and crew areas. An attractive venue may require a substantial technical setup. Arrange a visit and identify what the venue already includes before comparing proposals. For a collection presentation, also allow for storage, fittings and preparation areas.
Compare the complete budget
Separate venue hire and services, scenography, lighting and sound, crew, catering, guest reception, transport and photography or video. Compare proposals with the same inclusions. Define crew hours, expected deliveries and the terms for changes to the project. Allow a contingency suited to the constraints you have identified. Your production team can then suggest trade-offs around the priorities of the event.
Connect creative direction and production
Creative direction defines the atmosphere, materials, lighting, music and presentation of the brand. The production plan translates that intention into installations, responsibilities and timings. Share one running order with the people involved and name the person who approves each stage. Anticipate dependencies: the set must be installed before lighting adjustments, and venue photography may need a slot before guests arrive.
Prepare guest reception and content
Define the guest list, confirmations, access and arrival journey. Account for the needs of people presenting products, speaking or welcoming the press. For content, agree a shot list and the required formats: installation photography, portraits, event coverage or short films. Discuss the necessary permissions, intended uses and delivery schedule with the people concerned.
Send a practical production brief
Bring together your brand presentation, objective, proposed format, preferred dates, guest count and available budget. Add creative references, the venue if confirmed and the content you need. Clarify what your own team is handling and the services you want to commission. The Factory Production works on brand events, product launches, private dinners and parties in Paris and Cannes. The production scope is defined around your project.
